Place the heroes where they need to be

The gameplay in Storyteller is super easy, which allows you to concentrate on the fables more. In each chapter you will have a set of characters that will take part in every scene. According to the name of the scene, you will need to find a way to recreate it, applying the personages you have and the actions which they may perform.

At the beginning of the game, the tasks will be simple, but later on you will have to think a lot to build the right sequence of events. The more actions you have, the more variants are available.

In addition, you are limited with the number of panels, so there is no need to make the story too long! Instead, in most cases you have an opportunity to shorten the scene. Sort through the tactics and make the heroes arrive to the end as fast as possible. Anyway, if you do everything right, the game will give you a mark in the form of a little crown.

However, sometimes Storyteller gives several variants of development. Thus, after you finish the chapter, you have a chance to look at the alternative course of events and decompose the scene according to the new idea. As a prize, you will get an additional crown that may come in handy later.

Create drama

There is also one aspect in Storyteller that makes the game a little bit more complicated than it may look. Each hero has a special ability that they may use during the story. Some of them can poison the drinks or disguise themselves, other ones can sentence a murderer to death. Put the heroes in different situations to figure out what they are capable of.

The variety of the actions that they can display is quite impressive as well. Starting from a little kiss and ending with a mysterious resurrection of a dead body, you will have huge terrains to express your imagination. Sometimes you can add an object or a location, too. What the chosen character is going to do there depends only on their personality.

It means a particular person in Storyteller can have their own approach to different situations. If you put a girl near a pair of guns she will probably be confused, but an angry man will find the right application for them. Some of your decisions may influence the next panels, so consider all your choices!

Characters

Eve is one of the first heroes in Storyteller and in the history of humanity in general. Being a beautiful woman with long red hair, she is ready to make a critical mistake by eating the well-known apple.

Adam, the first human on Earth, is the one who will probably suffer from Eve’s curiosity. As his spouse, he is an ideal human, but unfortunately, he is prone to making horrible decisions as well.

Lenora is another hero in Storyteller, although she belongs to another chapter. Make her experience love or betrayal, happy wedding or sudden death of her loved one.

Ligeia is a woman that you won’t encounter in the full version of the game, but she is present in the demo. She is pretty sensitive and if you decide to break her heart, she will be extremely upset.

Baron is certainly the one who was born to be a villain. He is capable of any sort of crime and in addition, he doesn’t mind gaining some coins in the process of committing something unacceptable.

The Queen may not look as young and beautiful as Lenora or Ligeia, but she wants love, too! Try to impress her somehow and she will gladly marry her rescuer.

Edgar may interact with Lenora or Ligeia and even become their husband, if you need it for a scene. However, if his object of adoration rejects him, Edgar may act a little bit too dramatic and poison himself.

Mina is a brave girl who is going to face real vampires. Will she save her loved one from this horrible disease or will she turn into a beast herself?
